Concrete Lifting 3 Month Web Design Case Study

The Beginning: A Family with a Vision

When Dan first reached out, he wasn’t just building a business — he was building a legacy. He told us early on that his dream was to create something his 22-year-old son could work in full-time next year. It wasn’t about chasing quick money; it was about setting his family up for something lasting.

At that point, their business, Get Jacked Concrete Lifting, was brand new. They had just trained with HMI, invested heavily in equipment, and launched a small two-page site to hold their place online. But like many new contractors, they quickly realized that a basic website doesn’t generate calls — visibility does.

They found us in the Concrete Lifting Worldwide Facebook group, where we often share insights and motivational posts for concrete lifters. After seeing our work and how we help first-year businesses get off the ground, Dan reached out. His optimism and easygoing personality — the kind of guy who sounds like he’s smiling even on the phone — made us want to help him win.

The Challenge: Competing from Zero

Starting a new business is hard enough. Starting one online — in a competitive market like concrete lifting — can feel almost impossible.

New businesses face a mountain of challenges in terms of online marketing:

  • No trust built up online — search engines don’t yet know your name or brand.
  • New domain — Google treats new websites cautiously until they prove credibility.
  • Minimal reviews — potential customers don’t have proof to trust you yet.
  • Established competitors — most have years of marketing momentum already behind them.
  • Limited time for marketing — as a first-year owner-operator, Dan was in the field every day.
  • Limited budget – startup isn’t cheap, and marketing budgets are stretched thin.

Getting Started: Building a Real Foundation

We kicked things off on July 9, 2025 with one goal: build a clean, professional, residential-focused website that could actually rank on Google and AI searches and drive calls— fast. Because this was their first year and cash was tight, we broke the cost into six monthly payments to help keep things manageable. From there, we went all in on execution.

  • Full residential website build — 30 pages, complete copywriting, design, proper keywords, and on-page SEO from scratch.
  • City landing pages — to target Blue Springs first, then nearby Independence and Lee’s Summit, and surrounding towns.
  • Technical SEO setup — schema markup, XML sitemap, inner links, Google Search Console, backups & uptime monitoring.
  • Backend lead capture — ensuring every form submission was tracked and stored safely.

We launched the new site on July 29 — just 20 days later.

Adding the Trust Signals

Review cards for Concrete Lifters

REVIEW CARD LEAVE-BEHIND

Once the site was live, we focused on making sure customers — and search engines — saw Get Jacked as a legitimate, family-run local business.

  • Google Business Profile upgrade — new keyword-rich description, updated service areas, and replaced the generic truck photo with their family picture.
  • Review system setup — we designed custom review cards featuring their family image and review link, making it easy for customers to leave feedback after jobs.
  • 30+ local citations — consistent listings on trusted third-party directories to boost local visibility and authority.
  • Social media starter kit — branded Facebook posts to help them share updates.

Within weeks, the reviews started rolling in — ten of them in their first few months. That may not sound like much, but for a brand-new company, those reviews are gold. They build momentum, credibility, and search visibility all at once.

And within weeks, Dan could already feel the difference…

Thank you for all of the help you have been giving us… I can tell it’s steadily improving overall. I feel like we are close to turning a corner.”

The Climb: Momentum in Action

3 Month New Concrete Lifting Business Case Study | New Website & SEO

HUGE IMPROVEMENTS ON GOOGLE!

By September, everything we built was starting to click. Their Google profile was showing up in multiple cities, and their site was climbing fast. By early October, the results spoke for themselves:

  • #1 rankings in Blue Springs for all major concrete lifting and leveling searches.
  • Top 5 rankings in Independence and Lee’s Summit — cities outside their home base.
  • Top 20 in Kansas City — a massive metro area filled with established competitors.

Keep in mind: this was all on a brand-new domain/website purchased just a few months prior, with no backlinks, no existing authority, no trust, and no prior traffic. That’s the power of clean execution and authentic local branding.

And it’s not just about SEO wins. Dan has noticed the difference firsthand — more visibility, more calls, and a growing sense that they’re “turning the corner” toward steady, predictable success.

Why It Worked

This project worked because it wasn’t built on marketing fluff. It was built on the same values that make family businesses thrive — honesty, effort, and pride in your work.

  • Customer-first — lots of proof, content, text & images showing real problems actual homeowners search for.
  • Speed + strategy — launched in just 20 days, giving Google time to index and rank pages fast.
  • Local relevance — strong residential messaging and city pages written like homeowners actually talk.
  • Trust everywhere — family photo, warranty info, “eco-friendly” messaging, and real 5-star reviews.
  • Technical excellence — schema, site speed, uptime monitoring, and fully tracked forms.
  • Time saving — all we needed were a few family photos and we did everything else, saving Dan lots of time.
  • Paid for itself — with payments spread out over six months, the website investment paid itself off almost immediately, and made the marketing budget more manageable.

Where They Stand Now

Today, just a few months later, Get Jacked Concrete Lifting isn’t just visible — they’re competitive. They’ve built a strong digital foundation that continues to rise. They’re getting lots more calls.  And most importantly, they’ve built something that reflects who they are: a family that works hard, treats people right, and takes pride in every job.

As they look ahead to next year, Dan’s goal remains the same — bring their son on full time and keep growing the business the right way. Based on everything we’ve seen so far, they’re well on their way.

You should be proud of what you’ve built, Dan. This is just the beginning.
