This morning I got a call from one of our favorite clients—Nathan.

Nathan’s a young, ambitious business owner, in his second year. He runs the business with his wife. They’ve got two small kids at home. He’s not a “marketing guy.” He’s a real dude in the field—fixing concrete, showing up early, working hard, and doing it all so his family can live a better life.

And today… he told me he closed 10 out of 10 jobs.

Ten. For. Ten.

That’s not luck. That’s what happens when you build your reputation, do good work, and learn how to communicate value. Nathan’s personable. He listens. He explains the process clearly. He follows up. He looks like a pro—and customers trust him.

When You’re Closing Every Job… It’s Time to Level Up

I told him: “That’s amazing. But now it’s time to raise your prices.”

When you’re closing that many jobs, you’ve got leverage. That doesn’t mean gouge people—but it does mean you’ve earned the right to charge what you’re worth.

So I encouraged him to bump prices 10–25% and test it. Why?

✅ It gives him margin to hire help

✅ It filters out tire kickers

✅ It positions him as the pro—not the low-price guy

This is how real businesses grow. Not just by doing more jobs—but by building a model that’s profitable, scalable, and sustainable.

Build a Business That Works for You

Right now, Nathan is doing everything himself. Bidding. Lifting. Invoicing. Customer calls. It’s a grind—but he’s doing it for a reason: to create freedom for his family.

So we talked about how to start training someone to help. But not just by “showing them in the field.”

I told him: “Use your phone while you’re out bidding. Record your thought process. How you measure. What you say. Why you charge what you charge.”

That video becomes:

  • 🎥 Employee training content
  • 💻 YouTube or website content for SEO
  • 📈 A scalable system that frees up his time

Now, instead of repeating himself 100 times, he can document once and delegate.

From In the Business → To On the Business

What Nathan’s doing right now is what every serious contractor has to go through: the transition.

He’s going from doing every job, to learning how to build a business that gives him more margin, more time, and eventually—more freedom.

And this is why we do what we do at LevelRight Marketing.

Sure, we handle his SEO. We manage the rankings. We build the content. But those are just the tools.

The goal is bigger: help guys like Nathan grow something real. Something that provides for their family. Something that doesn’t require them to kill themselves 7 days a week just to make it work.

Helping the Next Wave of Business Owners

I see a lot of myself in Nathan. When I left my corporate job, my daughter was 6 months old. My wife was still teaching. We didn’t have a lot—but I had a vision, and I was willing to work.

That’s why it’s so damn rewarding to help the next wave of young business owners build something meaningful—on their terms. Not just chasing jobs. Not just fighting on price. But building a business, a reputation, and a life they’re proud of.
